View Full Version : Looking for some help with Japanese PSU client.

I signed up for the free course of PSU and installed the Ambition of Illuminus client but I can't figure out the options screen. Does anybody have screenshots of the english version of the graphics and controls options? I tried looking around for this but I couldn't find screens or a game manual. Also i am new to PSU outside of portable and was wondering if there is a certain place where English-speakers usually hang out? Hopefully this thread could help out others who are interested in joining Japanese PSU because it is tough to set up if you aren't already familiar with the options screen.

Just fool around with them until they are what you want them to be. If all else fails you can always go back to default options and try again. PSUpedia does not have an ingame options translation picture.It does, however, have shop menue translations.

Someone around on these boards had made a handy image of all of the option windows from the US version to use for reference.

Hopefully they can just post it again real quick..

Hey thanks for controls that helped alot. I think I get most of the options now but what is that first drop down box in the graphics section with numbers 0-4 and what are the 3 number selection boxes under the area that says LOD?

I uploaded this for you. Download it and put it into your PSU folder (you might want to rename the existing file just in case). This is the file copied from the English client which will make your options menu English instead of Japanese.

Edit: No longer works after latest update.

It says its temporarily unavailable so I'll try to get it later. Is this the program that translates item names(katakana) also? ...or just the menu options?

It's not a program. It's just the data file for the main Options menu before starting the game.
