This has probably been proposed before, and if it has, I'm going to do it again.
I'm sick of being hacked and being worried about being hacked. I want to sign on to PSO and have a good time. I don't know why so many people want to ruin the experience for everybody.
I'm a legit player. I play to have fun. I have a gameshark, but I have never used it to cheat or hack. I'm sure, with my programming background, it wouldn't be very hard to put most of these so called "hackers" to shame. (most of them aren't truly hackers anyways. . .just punk kids using some gs codes someone else hacked) The reason I don't do it is a matter of principal.
Now, I'm getting tired of the abundant game ruining. I'm ready to crack out my gs and give them a little of their own medicine.
So, I propose we make a league that offers a degree of protection to people who simply want to play and have fun. I ask you other gamers out there who are equally disgruntled to respond to this post or email me at locke@twfloors.com to let me know if you would support a group like this. If the response is good enough, we'll do it.
