Yeah I was wondering if:

a. That could have been a girl wrongly drawn
b. The middle part of the skirt been coloured accidently like a skirt, instead of green making the pants pink
c. that was just a girl thats really ugly
d. that it was possible that it was a girl because one of them owns clefairy and clefairy owners are always female (not pretty though)

That means those two are probably the two main characters. Since the comic depicts them within a game, they are both dressed as characters from this game.

Odds are they decided it would be funny to have one of the characters dressed as the male trainer and the other dressed as the female trainer.

And then they worked in a date-rape joke. Real classy.
