Egads, that last image was SO uncalled for. I was just here to check on the landfill one last time before calling it a night and BAM! Where am I going to find enough baby unicorn pics to overwrite that horror at this hour? There aren't enough saccharine-infused jpegs in the whole google images sea.

They aren't actually poisonous. You CAN eat them, you'd just regret it.
Apparently the goo can be used as a coagulant, but the taste of the mushrooms is bitter incarnate.

I don't consider girls with animal ears / odd hairstyles to be furry.
Your mileage may, however, vary.
I personally always felt it was those with actual fur for skin, or decidedly animalistic joints/body parts.

Those characters' costumes clearly consist of much more than animal ears or odd hairstyles.

One is wearing what are basically pyjamas with a tail attached, has her hair pointed, and is holding a furret/ferret. She herself is human.

She is wearing a full furret costume. That is being a fursuiter.

Fursuiters are included in the all-encompassing term of "furries."

Neither are acceptable.

My friend draws furries pretty awesome.

With Encino Man. Boy have the mighty cavemen cool bros fallen.

At least the Michelin Man commercial, the animals are scary lookin' then they get up and dance still with tire tracks on their torsos. & there was a People of Wal-Mart about this.

Pretty much this. Remove 99.9% of the furry artists and what you have left is actually really well drawn and detailed. For example, Dark Natasha (deviantart or personal website) draws some amazingly detailed stuff, almost realistic quality detailed.
