hey, that's an interesting idea... since i have 12 characters, i have 12 jack-o-lanterns... now all i need to do is renew my hunter's license...

You can actually get an unlimited amount of Jack O Lanterns simply by creating/deleting characters.

You're going to need new items. If you want, I'll give you some stuff that I don't need. Just PM me & we can meet up online. I'm on Pacific time.

ver 1.1 is the 'fixed' version of PSO. This version was released in the US & has different servers than the original Japanese version.

PM = Private Message. You'll see the option of sending one to me under this post.

wouldn't that require a 1.0 disk though? (which i don't have since i had to send it to NCS to trade in for 1.1)
unless they were crazy enough to give you a jack-o-lantern with new characters... then again...

There is a quest that only v1.1 people can select. It gives you a jack-o-lantern after talking to this npc. You can only do the quest once per character. So, if you create a new character each time you should be able to get as many jack-o-lantern you would like.

You get a Jack o Lantern since you lose ALL your items when switching over to 1.1

so this means i pretty much have 24 jack-o-lanterns off the bat?
with a potential for an infinite resupply if i get another memcard?

Yes I think so. It sucks really bad that you practically have to start over (at least all your items). It's the least ST could do.

One thing to remember is this is for people with the japanese version(v1.1 that is) only.

If you have the US version or Japanese v1.0, then this quest is not available for you.

There is only one store selling v1.1. And its selling like hot cakes. The other way is to find a place to exchange v1.0 for you. The latter is diffulcult to do and takes a long ass time to get the game back. If you really want it, good luck.

The only other difference between US version and v1.1 is the price of the HL. V1.1 cost about $4 a month.

so anyway, i converted my characters, and .. no jack-o-lanterns... looks like i have to do the online quest to get the jack-o-lanterns... now all i need is $13 balance so i can get a 3 month HL...

Why is it cheaper with V1.1? Also I bought mine from Target...would that be v1.0? Another thing, can you dish me over a few Jack-o-lanterns???

JP1.1 was created mostly because of duping on 1.0
