is it me or are the servers diconnecting people a lot today?

I haven't been able to join a game and stay in it for more than 5 min. I'm on broadband [3 mb/s cable line]so it can't be me. Anyone else have this problem?

at least u can get on. I can't even get to the ship selection screen without a disconnection. a surprise server maintenance perhaps?

I got dc'ed and for half an hour checking it just got stuck at the DNS thing

Just stay off of Vega right now. Thats the only one having problems. The rest of the servers are stable.

Yes...it's not just Vega, I've tried All the ships on the US server. And I even tried Mintaka on the JP server.(seeing as how Sega cares more about the JP ship than the US..."wink wink")..I got disconnected there too...AGH!!!!! I was hoping to finish that stupid Keyboard quest today and play the Chu Chu Roket GBA game...oh well...

BTW- I can now stay on for 8 minutes instead of 5!!! W00T!! (I'm being sarcastic...but you probably already knew that..)

Its all the ships, not just Vega. I can't say anything about the Japanese ships. My disconnect count is 4, that paired with the lag just made me decide to stay offline today.

I either have to wait about 10 minutes at the DNS screen or I get disconnected in the middle of a game. Ick. x_X;

It won't load the list of teams sometimes, either, and I have to do a soft reset... probably frying my Gamecube.

I do hope that something nice'll come of this, but it seems sort of strange that it would be maintenence; I'd think the servers wouldn't allow you to get back on until it was over, then.

My wife's Ruins crew got d/ced while she was standing on the boss portal...The two people not yet on the portal disconnected, so when the lag ended just her and the Force went in. Oh my. I got on same time as usual, 10:30PM MST on Antares 8, I was playing with 0 problems till around 12:30, everything froze via Matrix Style, you know when your able to move while everything is standing still....I quit and saved tried to log back on and the screen gets stuck with animations at the first screen where you select ship and block...from the looks of the posts it seems its been happening all day. Oh pooo.

Sega was supposedly doin a little mantinence. But who knows. I got through with ease, but, the lag was pretty bad, which means they were screwing around on the servers. It's probably just some basic updating, but ya never know. The lag was bad enough to constantly FSOD people. It was either mantinence, or preparation for a new addition of some sort...
