Sure it's possible. It's even possible for one person to use two characters and go through alone (one character can be left outside a room when fighting, except on bosses of course). The problem is getting low enough times to achieve S-rank. That's quite a challenge. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

If have some advice given to me by my freinds for C-mode,

Most monsters are harder then you think, try finding faster ways if disposing of them OFFLINE in normal first, then youll be ready for it http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

- Give all HP mats/units to the RAmar (he'll literally die on De Rol Le and Dark Falz in one hit without some).
- Give all Mind/TP mats/units and spell disks (except duplicates) to the HUnewearl. If you find Resta make sure you use it if you can.
- Give all Power mats/units to the HUnewearl until she can equip all local weapons (or at least a really good specific weapon type), then give the rest to the RAmar. For example: she'll need extra ATP to use a Sword in c2, a Brand in c3, a Buster and Gigush in c6, a Blade in c7 and c8, and a Pallasch in c9.
- Give all Def and Evade mats to the HUnewearl. The RAmar should always stay at a distance and use a gun to conserve mates.
- If you find a decent gun and the HUnewearl can equip it, that's a good consideration for conserving mates. It may or may not slow down progress depending on how strong and accurrate it is compared to her melee weapons.
- The RAmar will do a lot more damage with an elemental weapon special attack that an enemy is weak against (ie. Heat Rifle vs. Evil Shark). If you can find a gun with Dim, Shadow, or Dark the RAmar should make use of this immediately.
- Stick together. With less players it's safer to back each other up instead of splitting up. This is especially important against tougher enemies like Hildebears, Nano Dragons, Sinows, Delsabers, Belras, etc.
- Instead of taking Garanz head-on, the HUnewearl should run around them and let them kill themselves. This will conserve mates.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

The best advice I can give is don't try it with a RAmar and a HUnewearl. Even for c-mode pros completing it with such a duo would be tough - Getting S-Rank would be impossible.

i thought s-ranks werent accessible offline. or do you complete them offline and then log on to get the s-rank? and i also heard that s-ranks this time around are worse than normal type weapons

S-Rank weapons are not available offline, however you still do get a rare weapon for competion with S-Rank time. There's a list of these weapons on this site if you want to see them.

As for your second question, yes, S-Rank weapons are not as good as they used to be. However, they are still good once they are fully ground-up, which could take considerable time considering some of them have a max grind of +250.

just be real real careful with challenge 6. me and a friend of mine (my friend almost had a time of under 4 hours on version 2) kept getting beat down in that challenge, time after time. the maps were real terrible we tried like 10 different ones. we even got killed in the ones where we did find resta.(we werent dying because of our skill...we kept dying because in the last area i think it was, a room contained 7 garanz and at once 3 of them came out.)

just a little tip,(didnt have time to check if some one mentioned this yet)

if you find way too many enemys that are a pain to kill (example, hildebears, nano dragons, sinows, garanz and ect...) just quit the game and try that challenge again. who knowws you might have less of those types on enemys and actualy be able to complete that challenge.

I have a question. I know the rewards for beating C-Mode, but my question is does every character that participates get that reward?

thanks

Assuming you do all of them with total time not exceeding the s-rank time, yes.

By the way, I would suggest one play to be a HUcast or HUcaseal due to the better stats and partial immunity to most status changes.

2 HUnewearls could do it online on v2, but not s-rank...
2 HUcasts could do it online on v2, but i dont know if they reached s-rank times (i guess not).

since v3-c-mode seems a tiny bit easier than what it was on v2, i'd say... it will be really hard for 2 people to get s-rank - off- or online.

anyway good luck... maybe with a third person its more likely to gain good times, i'd say.
