JP PC/PS2 - Content update for June 10

GUARDIANS Boost Road
* Moatoob Drop Boost 3rd will run from June 10 through July 1. This GBR will focus on the following missions:
- Caves of Ice
- Awoken Serpent
- Deserted Mines

New mission
Deserted Mines C-S3 (Starts at Casino Voloyal, heading toward Granigs Mine.)
There are countless abandoned mines across Moatoob, which are now being inhabited by native creatures. Exterminate the creatures and secure the mines!

New mission difficulties
* Caves of Ice and Awoken Serpent will both receive difficulty S3.
* A set of clear boxes will be added to the end of Caves of Ice.
* Some of the items that drop from the boss boxes at the end of Awoken Serpent A-S2 will be changed.
* New exchange items will be added to RSD Special Exchange.

System updates
* Bil De Vear LV175+ will receive an item drop change.

New items
* New weapons will be added including (but not limited to):
- Twin Tonfa (twin daggers)
- Harpoon Rifle (rifle)
* Casino rotation.

I'm usually not big on GBRs unless I'm at the cap, and this probably won't be any different... BUT I might as well collect frags while I'm at it. =O

Why wonder when the answer is 'No' with 100% certainty. I think that it is fantastic to see PSU continue to get so much content but disheartening when the 360 servers are blatantly neglected by comparison.

Looks like a fun update, I just wish the 360 servers would see it before 2012 (if they are not closed before then).

OOOh no the xbox servers sadly will live on till the end seeing we still have a good pop and the update is also helping bring new people around as well so bonus all around.

On another note the bil de drop may be the axe from psp version i at least hope that would make me hunt for it lol.....^^;

I thought the same about it, but I guess it's pretty much gonna be Bil de Axe (following the logical pattern that most enemies drop determined board in lower levels and the made weapon/armor in higher levels).

And....god...3 missions instead of 4; I'm guessing the standard chart for GBR %s will be modified somehow. Anyway, it's Moatoob...and people rarely do missions on that planet, unless it is Forest of Illusion lol.

the good pop is mostly the demo players, and so it means no money for sega, i guess the xbox servers will close next years for sure

Seeing as we get 1 universe full everyday and during events we get 2 unis full. And when the supplemental update hits I would not be surprised to see 3 universes full. I would say our population is healthy seeing as this game is advertised 0 times anywhere in the Us/Eu. Just saying ...
Also, I can not wait to try out the new mission.
Also, what do you mean the population is demo players... they are on a complete different server from actual playing customers you fool.

It's not possible. Only GC spent after the service coupon system was introduced counts toward the total.

Well, people like you need to realize the universes on the demo are vastly smaller than the ones on the real game.

Wish Caves of Ice had Drua Gohras like that V1 offline mission. That was such a fun mission.

I love GBRs and I think we will get also new boss box drops for the new items. Hope there is a single version of that dagger:)
But we will see soon about that. It is cool that we always get updates not like US>>

Don't worry, as Edward said 'items are the easiest thing to bring to our servers.' I'm sure they will give us all the items our servers are lacking due to their ineptitude in the past (with an increased drop rate just like with Citadel of Sand and Mugunruk boards).

All the items (on this game anyway) are is simply a model+description swap with altered values for the stats. No, they aren't very hard to bring over. In fact i'd say putting them in the drop data is likely harder than implementing them into the game.


Edward's job is to say things to keep us at bay so we dont feel so bad that our servers have the bare minimum going for them every month. I wouldn't look forward to the promises he gives us :P
