Yucky javaChat

I hate this java chat client. I can't get it to work through my firewall at work. Is there a way to get the Chatter back as well or is bandwidth a problem?

might a suggest Whiplash instead? It is a cgi chat client that works fairly well and people behind a firewall can still us it..
