Post your favorite kind of weapon here

I just wanted some opinions on what the best weapons are. I found slicers best for my HUnewm and Mech Guns for my RAcast.

I like shields and gunblades, but the damage they deal isn't high enough for me to actually use in SH, sadly. So for my HUnewearl, I currently use double swords.

For my RAcaseal, I like rifles the most, but again, I use mechs for her. They deal more damage.

FOnewearl, I use a staff and spam techs. Not much of a PA user with her.

Anyways, for hunters I like daggers and sabers the most.

Rangers, I like rifles and handguns.

Forces, wands for magical sign spam.

i like my tonfas (daggers) and phobas shot (rifle). i always keep 4 weaps with me. one for each type of hostile. phobas for mechs, radient for beasts, tonfa for native, and daggers for dark (cant remember there name :/)

Morgenlote - a Double saber, and Hadan Bite, a claw.

HUnewm: Usually a double saber, occasionally a saber or rifle.
FOnewearl: Rods, since they have high MST and I almost only use techs.
HUcast: Mech guns and rifles. Yes, I play him as a RA.

^THIS. And, my faves are:
-HUnewearl : Fuuma Shuriken&Gigas Romulus, since they go well with her colors
-HUcaseal: Mehrennenka, Ainsraiffe and Garland Drei for the color scheme
-FOmarl: Crimson Vis (I like the mafioso nun style it gives her) and any scythe
-RAcaseal: BlackHawk, Nersir, Heimdall&Twin Violets since, once again, they fit her colors well, and are also useful parts of my arsenal.
-FOnewearl: Foie Haze&White Disaster, useful weapons and they look nice on her.

hunters i like the sabers and swords for force ride and over end
rangers i like the handguns and rifles for flame hit and mine sneak
forces i mostly use a rod for damage output without the pa and i use a wand for magical sign and if i feel like a change of pace ill use a slicer with bright sign

For me it's because for one: I get to be a Jedi - and #2 - it matches my blue wardrobe/radam :]

RAmar: Black Phobos + sneak mine (I just keep reloading offline till the NPC gives me a rifle with good % + PA).
RAmar: Trois Souther (slicer) for boss fights or whenever I rely on resta a lot.
RAmar: Gunblades for fun, but not for SHard mode.

HUcaseal: Double Sabers for SHard mode.
Hucaseal: Daggers for fun.

I see I'm not the only RAmar who uses slicers then. Also useful in areas like Paru where hostiles have high gun-resistance, and Bright Sign = one of my favorite PA's.

Slicers=ranged melee damage, as a certain RAmarl player I know would put it.

Slicer RAmarls are actually probably the most efficient way to deal good damage for them besides using melee damage seeing as FOrce and HUnter weapons provide way bigger boosts than RAnger weapons.

Anyway wands (^_^ Magical sign), double sabers, daggers, slicers

Plus Slicers can hit enemies over gaps and around obstacles. None of that "Guard" b.s. that guns have.

I use different ones for each character, but my favorite is Double Sabers.

Double Sabers (can never remember the name [starts with an "M"] beside from the description: "Divine Mischief") + Gunblades (Axeons FTW!!! :lol: naglerings are good too...) + a decent handgun (currently rogue pulse) + a decent slicer (sky survey looks good and is good :lol:)
