What do you do with not so rares?

I have a greenil humar and i'm cursed with countless justys and wals. I feel really weird selling them for 10 meseta so I just stock pile them in my bank. Sometimes i'll go into a normal game and see if anyone wants them but then they think i'm duping. They're starting to take up a lot of room in my bank so I wondering what everyone else does with their not so rares?

If they're merely taking up space, then I just get rid of them.

If I have other characters that need low requirement weapons, I give 'em to them.

Sometimes I just drop one or two in a game, but never too many.

Other than that, I just drop them or sell them, because they're pretty useless.

I just make a storage character offline to store them all in until they get insane (like 20 of em) then i go and give them away in novel ways (like a quiz show about pso or something, i did that with Diablo 2).

Ahh I`m cursed also with Greenil and I`m a FOmar and the only thing I get that I can use is Talis and Club of Luconium well at least on hard mode!!!!

ha ha I was wondering the same thing I would kinda like to get something out of em. heres what I did today in Vega there were like two people in the lobby begging (I hate that) for free rares. I made a game game called FREE RARES!!!! well it filled instantly so then I dropped a rare and they came running!!!! so I would run around and they would all follow me picking up rares!!!! I would dodge them and stuff. they are pathetic. then they fought overe em and traded them. losers o_O
But really is there a constructive thing to do with them?

I can't get online so it's pointless keeping all those junk rares.

I just keep the ones that have high %s for myself or give them to one of my other characters. I sell off the ones that have no percents or lower percents then the ones I already have.

Huh? Are you saying that Skyly finds nothing but good things? Well Skyly has the ability to find a LOT of good stuff...but the problem is ACTUALLY finding them. (Ask Phalanx about that lol) I've given away (or simply left on the ground) TONS of Dragon Slayers, Stags, and Justys...the three items that make up Skyly's curse >_<. But it's all good.

If I happen to be online when I get a rare I already have I just drop it near the bank counter, if offline I hold it till I get online and drop all my doubles. I find it amazing that people jump on your back when you drop 3 slicer of assasins and 2 diska of liberator, all legit but nobody blinks an eye at my Snow Queen or Sato. Anyway I thought about doing battle modes and giving my rares to whoever wins but seems too time consuming, just easier to make a free rares room. I find it funny watching the level 12's scoop up anything you drop, whether it's a red box or not. Should drop some monomates in between when they follow you around to keep them on their toes.

My Ranger is Whitill, lol. Ah well...if I absolutely can't find anything of worth with Whitill, I suppose I'll have to get stuff with my HUcast. He's Viridia, lol.

edit to add: as for the original point of this thread, in DC V1, I just sold the rares I couldn't use. W/GC, though, I'll keep the rare if one of my other characters can use it.

if i picked up all the discas of liberator that i find with redria, i wouldnt have anywhere to put my usable items. i pick them up, look at the requirements and the atp bonus. if they are discas i just leave them behind. i only keep them if they have 50 or more percent in an area. get to know your common crap rares stats, and leave them.

Creative things to do with the useless things:

- Leave them untekked and drop them in the middle of a big fight, just as enemies keel over and die. Watch as your teammates climb over themselves to grab your uber-rare Diska of Liberator. I love doing this ;>

- Drop a ton of them at the bank counter. Now nobody can talk to the bank chick without picking up your junk. Do the same at the item shop.

I would keep them, make a new character I can use them on, or transfer them to an existing character. But most of the time I just drop them in a game where people need them and leave, so they don't expect a thing. So many noobs think thier dupes so they all say "hey we dont want your stoopid dupes" and i say "thier not dupes there common ult stuff" and the say "No one gives away rares" then im like "ok" and drop them and then they come up from the boss and pick them up...wow noobs are funny...

I trade them for Photon Drops or Grinders. It's been pretty effective for me. I got 50 Photon Drops in one night, trading off nothing but the 9 star crap rares. I've also been able to get hefty amounts of grinders, too. Most of the time, the noobs don't even know what Photon Drops are for.. so they're like "SURE. HEREZ 4 PHOTON DROPZ 4 UR DBS SABER!!111!"
I find it pretty productive, anyway.

I remember once I had so many Diska of Bravemans, that I started dropping them on the floor. I noticed this HUmar and HUcast were picking them up. So, I made a trail with all of them I had, and they picked up each and every one.

I also set some on the transporter to Tyrell, so they had to beam in and out to get them.

Go into a normal mode game and give them to the low level people then when there on higher levels and find good stuff the be a little bit more generous with you if you play online (worked for me)If you play offline sell them.Because usually weapons that get stocked that much up are worth 10 meseta anyway.
