Which would be better in your opinion?
Full atp HUney?
Full evp HUney?
Or could I do a hybrid?
Evp mats and atp mag (only thing to do)?

Well, I'm currently running an evp HUney, and being that mags have no EVP stat the only thing you can do is either full mst or atp with the mag. (I'm using a full atp femini right now) Now, I'm no expert by any means, this is all stuff I've heard of and my own experience. But from what I've seen "Full EVP Huney" Usually means, Rika's suit, rika's claw, 4 divine/swifts and 80 swift mats, and either that atp or mst mag.

Would going evp with a full atp mag hurt my damage compared to a full atp HUney?

Well, of course it will, as would it when you're not only pumping powermats into any character: of course it's going to decrease your damage output when it comes to the numbers... but you're going to make up for it with increased evasion, and of course HUneys aren't really known for their high damage output anyways.

atm i have 80 swift 100 power mag 2 d/powers element boost and compress PA as my HUnewy's set up, she is still giving a good amount of dmg is SH, i do like all the 'miss' that pop up as well XD

In terms of effeciency alone atp > evp in a HUnewearl. A strong offense is a strong defense - you dont need evep when the enemy is DEAD. Of course there are boss attacks and things like that where you might want evp to dodge some stuffs, but rolling should usually do the trick...
In the end you should just run what you want to end though :o

I don't know...I'm still deciding this myself actually and would recommend someone's advice...
For this experiment I'm not going to factor the Rika's Claw, seeing as gimping yourself out of a celeb/life weapon for only 25 EVP is kinda pointless...
General "magic number" for EVP: 690 EVP (690 is enough to have a very good evasion rate)
Base HUney evp = 327 EVP
Full power HUney lvl 100 (Rika's Suit, 80 pow mats, 100 pow mag, 4 divine powers) = 567 EVP, 485 base (shifta'ble) ATP meaning 485 - 505ish ATP base, MAX 705 ATP with pow mag and divine powers
Full EVP HUney lvl 100 (Rika's Suit, 80 swift mats, 100 pow mag, 4 divine swifts) = 747 EVP, 405 base (shifta'able) ATP meaning 405 - 425 ATP base. MAX 525 ATP with mag
I really like a HUney's ability to have such massive EVP stat, and being able to get hit only 20-30% of the time (if even that) is really, REALLY cool. I don't even mind not having divine/powers as much, but losing nearly 200 ATP in the process when you already have the lowest ATP of all HUnters isn't something I think I can go with (the loss of about 100 ATP from Mats alone is what really gets me). Personally when I get my HUney up there (she's level 32 now and is going to be weaponless sometimes), I see myself using a 99/0/0/1 mag for Flozir, Rika Suit, 80 pow mats, and 4 divine swifts for 647 EVP and 604 total ATP, unless someone can convince me that the damage lost from the use of swift mats instead of pow mats is really worth it (perhaps a pure EVP HUney could tell me how much damage they do with a Clairs or level 3 Celeb Gigas, a level 4 Celeb Hadan, a level 3 Celeb Ainsraiffe, and a level 4 Celeb Foie Haze)

I can... it was still hitting pretty decent, if you ask me. A Celeb Lv3 Gigas Romulus with high enough %'s in a field of enemies you're attacking can generally do that to you. I was hitting for maybe 200+ damage per hit with it on some enemies, more or less variant... I think. Been a while since I last used her, so I'll have to wait for my old cart to get here for me to make accurate guesses. :P

I second that. My 100 HUnewearl (div swift x 4 80 evp mats 100 pow mag) was hitting even 400's on natives with celeb hadan bite 60% native.

ATP. No need to dodge if you can slaughter.

Hmm...I'm still going to try out my weaponless build, which I NEED pow mats for. If it ends up being successful online then I'll stick with pow mats and just use divine swifts when I'm not weaponless. If it ends up being a dud (lol hitting for 50's-60's online every other hit) then I'm willing to give it a try. I am sitting on a bunch of swift mats anyway...

I use a HUnewm with 80 ATP mats, and I still have ok evade I guess. That's just me I'm a power hungry ^_^
