really all characters on PSO are equally capable of defeating all enemies and areas of the game solo. However it's a matter of how many buttons your willing to press to achieve this goal.
Ex: FOmar (being the hardest to accomplish these tasks, they must jellen zalure+shifta deband themselves and constatnly resta themselves more than any class) Quite frankly i'm sick of it.
HUcast: This is best for Button smasshing people who like to just rush rush rush not bother with tactics and mostly just tap A when u need to refill ur HP.

I'm begining to wonder about some peoples playing style at this forum. You don't really have that much of a hassel using a Force, but hey whatever I guess.

I've found it the easiest to play with a HUmar.
I have yet to try the HUnewearl on GC PSO, so I don't know which one would be the best overall.

once you have different patterns, you could go fine with any chara-class - my favorite lately was being RAnger (RAcaseal to be precice), but then again, i also like HUnters (i might not have liked my HUcast but he was great in challenge) and FOrces (no surprise i'd say ^^;).

hucast? solo? online? hmmmm... yeah i guess they can. its a bit harsh in ultimate, but do-able. a level 170 hucast can probably do solo ultimate deathbed. gear needed:
s-reds blades
mag with mylla and youlla, bar fill and boss s/d
cure shock
cure freeze
cure slow
god battle
standstill shield
df field
100 power mats
50 def mats
50% hit vulcans
3 resist devil
3 resist blizzard
chainsawd or better
red handgun with hit percents
....and 400 scape dolls
that should get you to olga.

I just rearrange the spells on my quick select menu so that my most-used spells are where I can select them easily (top and bottom). Then I make sure I always have resta, a special weapon attack, rafoie, a star atomizer and two other spells on my hotkeys.

Last night you were swooning over your Fomar :/
My lvl 173 HUnewearl will always be my baby ^_^
On a side note, My RAmar is hella fun too. hes only lvl 60.

Do combos is not the same as smash button.
As Hucast you must think each hit and even change weapons and set traps between a combo.
Play as Hucast is a lot more battle tactical than FOmar. It depends on player but as Fomar the usual is not care about being damaged or if with that combo that weapon you deal more damage.
With a Hucast if you start attacking with i.e. a sword type weapon and all except 1 enemy dies he will change to a more powerful weapon for single enemies i.e. mechguns, saber, daggers, etc... And always will try to avoid the enemy and save mates. And the traps are very tricky too. At least that's how I play as HUcast and hwen I'm a character with techs I care less about that stuff and go the easy way.

FOmars are more challenging to use. I play this character more than any other because I like to feel like I have accomplished something....and I yearn for the challenge

I play with HUcast on ultimate at level 150 with pretty shity stuff, I don't die. I go good. Using Dance Blades cause HUcast seems to have horrible luck with items=P
