Delete the game data?
My friend had given me his ps0,and i want to start anew
because deleting characters only removes character data,and not the records and such,i need to know how

After you press A on the DS menu to actually start the game, immediately press and hold A,B,X,Y,L, and R.

Emerald Field is rare, but... it's not end game material. After you've cataloged it and lvled enough to use something better, may as well trade it to someone else to catalog.

Transfer items? The Joint trunk lets you store things where all 3 characters can get them.
