Will Get Supplemental Update This Week poll

Considering they stated they will give us at least a week's notice before the update is released, AND we know there is no maintenance on July 9th, I consider your question to be rather stupid.

"will be ready likely within a week’s time. Please understand that this is the best information we can provide, and dates and details are always subject to change until everything is 100% confirmed."

This does not mean "you will definitely get it in a week", or are you being obtuse on purpose?

Easy123, let me teach you something very important about this game and this forum.

When anyone from sega says:

"LIKELY will be ready within [x amount of time]",

or (especially)

"We will give at least a weeks notice beforehand"

you are to automatically translate both of these sentences to:

"You'll get it when we feel like it".

Cold, hard truth. To go even farther, it really doesnt matter what they say -- its always a 60% chance they'll renege their statement and tell you something else. And thats a pretty high precentage. Learn to expect them to delay the updates and you'll be much better off. If you think the wait for the delays of this update is bad, just wait until another event comes by. (loolol)

well Edward did say "It will be Ready within a week" he didn't say anything about us "Getting it within a week".

There ya go.

The update is probably ready, but they're waiting on FedEx to deliver the floppy disks. It was a holiday weekend, after all.

They stopped getting FedEx to do their deliveries. Cost them too much.

They just have SoJ send it to their AOL Mailboxes. Billy wont stop picking up the phone, though, so the connection keeps dropping.

Read my post again! I said "within a week". That means the update content -- the content in previews on our website -- should be live, for you to play, within a week. I don't know where you're getting a month left from.

Although he does say "should", he made sure everyone in the thread knew that he was talking about the supp comming this week.

It will be ready within a weeks time, not that it will be implemented in a weeks time. That means that although it is going to be finished they can hold on to the content for as long as they feel neccessary. My guess is end of July or into August. Im guessing end of July though.

That may be the case now, but it was Edward himself that was assuring people that the actual content would be live and running within a week, which is now up.

What is it about the quotes:

"I will post an exact date as soon as it is confirmed."
and
"dates and details are always subject to change until everything is 100% confirmed."

That you find so hard to understand? Find me the exact date that has been posted by Edward anywhere in that thread (http://forums.sega.com/showthread.php?t=332838) or any other thread on the Official forums.

Edward is a mere GM and forum mod. He does not know anything. He has no power over anything but if you post anything offensive on the main forums.

He simply says things that are close to what we want to hear.
