Chat Room while you Play?

I saw a post of something about linking to a chat room or whatnot in the "Player Matchup" section of this forum in which appeared to be a good idea.

are there any chat programs out there that many of us can have "easy" access to so we can chat n stuff when we are online with each other on the ds?

might possibly make chatting with each other possibly more "convenient" maybe?

Like, we can see who is in the chat room n then make games from there? (using a set chat room channel or "spot") i.e. "PsZ gamers chat" using Mirc?

edit: this chat room might also be handy for trading also maybe?

I know some of my friends use ventrilo to voice chat while they play. But using it is quite tedious, so I wouldn't recommend it. lol sorry, I wasn't much help.

^ Ventrilo is a voice chat system, by the way. Mostly used by MMO players, it could be handy with PSZ and other WiFi DS games.

whoa, those chat thingys on the group sites are pretty neat.

the vent idea also seems really cool. (especially if someone knows a dedicated server we can use? ^ ^;;)

thank you guys for the responses n once i get the wifi connector in the mail (possibly in a few days from now) ill be sure to post my FC here so we can gamezors? ^ ^ n maybe even test out the vent n chat ideas & sites.

i was going to suggest Vent because i use it lol (for World of Warcraft.. never thought of using it for my ds!! lol)

I think it would be convenient if I could text TO the chat, in an instance I wouldn't be able to get online from the computer. : D
