GC PSO: Wots new ?

Ive been reading the forums recently and i have been reading alot of things that i have no idea what that means. So whats different between PSO v2 on the DC and the new GC version (which i am gettin 2 morrow).
A few of the things i have heard are

Photon Drop :/
Red Boxs :/

Well...there's alot of new things in the Gamecube version. Those Photon drop things? You collect them and trade them for items in an online quest called Gallon's Shop. About the Red boxes...Remember how rare weapons, sheilds, etc. came in normal boxes? They are now in a red box, this way it's easier to find rare items. Is it easier 2 find good weapons in ult. On my DC i could only find a few of the rare ult weapons (whislt being bogged down with justy after justy)

Oh yes! Much easier. Rares are much easier found now. I've found loads of legit rares, look at my sig for two of my best. ^o^
