How do I add my own personal avatar? I've seen people on this site have it and im curious how can I do it... Thanks for your time!

You don't.

The site owner has said that he doesn't want everybody to have custom avatars.

However, every once in a while we have contests where the prize is a custom avatar. So you could try winning one of those.
