its been amazing to me seeing how i usually suck at grinding but yet ive made 7 10/10 in 2 hours

15% boost would have been much better...but I guess one can't complain about a grind boost when grinding without one is so horrible.


I've gotten a few A-ranks to 10/10. I got one S-rank to 10/10.

But I broke all my unbroken lasers and I was really hoping for a 10/10. Oh well.

Got a adahna cannon to 9/9 and 8/8. But my edel fucil will never see sunlight again...I destroyed it.

Plus, I sold off some of the grinder base S and excess S+10s and S+9s I had before the supplemental update. I was always scared we would get it before the boost and thus see a huge drop in grinder price. I mean, they aren't exactly as high as the last boost but atleast I was able to unload them.

Indeed. There's no feeling quite as horrifying as when you're grinding your awesome, high percent weapon, only to see that little bar in the middle of your screen violently explode.

Even with this boost, I have never gotten anything to 10/10, and probably never will.

I got some c rank wands to 10/10 back when the level cap was 80
I have 1 10/10 b rank tenora wand when you could not grind A ranks.

I've Seen Better but it's actually not too BAD i broke a 47% Falclaw, Neutral Twin Falclaws, and my 50% Zanshu-Misaki all going from 9-10 (No BS), My Advice to you guys if ya don't have much don't go past 8, btw that 0/9 47%lighning falclaw is on sale for 10 mil in my shop (I need money for more S+10Crack)

I never did, not when i played. I feel far worse failing a 90% grind than an 80% one.

Did i ever mention i was one of the 4 people on these servers that have failed a 99% grind?

me too. infact i never wait for a grind boost :P If anything grind boosts have been a waste of money. spend a bunch of money on grinders break a bunch of weapons get like 1 or 2 good ones and think that it was worth it >.> lol

my best grinds were done spontaneously :P 8/10 p-wand, 7/9 Kazarod and 8/8 edel fucil (After I broke literally over 50 weapons going from 3-4 i stopped grinding lol)

Lol, I won't touch my Ely Sion with a grinder attatched to a 10 foot pole. If it doesn't say "There is no chance of failure" then it isn't grinding my Sion lol. so far it's 2/10... go figure -.-

But besides that, I hate grinding. Always have and always will. It amazes me how many time I take a weapon in for grinding and it says "Has a VERY HIGH chance of success" and it still breaks. I've never gotten an S rank weapon to 10/10 and probably never will. The best I've done was a magical wand to 9/9 and a photon claw to 10/10.

The fact PSU went from the Mono/Di/Trigrinder system to this horrible "LOLOLOOL HOPE UR LUCKY" garbage that other MMO's like to use is kind of mind boggling. Broken weapons is not something anyone wants to have happen to them.


...Then again, there isn't really much PSU changed and did right from PSO, now that I think about it. I remember finally picking up my PSU Preorder for PS2 first day it came out, playing that first storymode mission and wondering why the hell I was falling asleep...T_T

I don't usually bother grinding myself. Mostly because I don't really intend to sell much of anything I have, and I tend to get passed over for the S grinder bases. I get a bunch of A and B bases, though. ^^;

I miss the xgrinder system from PSO.

I broke like 4 Twin DB swords going from 4>5 or 5>6 using A+10's. It's so infuriating seeing people running around with an entire pallet of 50% 10/10 weapons. I can't even get an S rank weapon past 6 without breaking it even with an S+10. I guess I just shouldn't grind in PSU. I definitely miss the PSO grinding =[
