Broadband Play on a Wii?

So, I was an idiot and sold my Gamecube a while ago. Then I found out about servers that were running for PSO and I got back into the game, made a new character, and the whole works. I wanted to know the following:

If I were to buy a broadband adapter for the Wii, would I be able to play PSO online using it? (Or would I have to invest in a Gamecube and a BBA?)

Unfortunately, that won't help you. GC games that require the broadband adapter will not work with the Wii.
