Adding elemental attributes to weapons?

Okay, I've been wondering this for a while now. How to I get higher elemental percentages on my weapons? It there a trick to it, or is it random when they drop from enemies? Any help would be appreciated. ^^

It's random, plain and simple.

But since you're talking about offline, you could always save your game before you synth, then if the % is low, reload your save and re-try until you get a good %. As for weapons that drop, you just have to keep hunting a lot.

Ah ok, thanks. Seems like I steadily get 30% on my light-based spears and daggers, but I'll keep trying. Thanks for the quick response, and confirming my suspicions. :-)
