Sorry for being a n00b http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif but...what exactly IS this quest? The guides don't seem to help me understand this much.
What do you do? Is it good exp? Is it good RARES? IS IT?! GAHHHHH!
(P.S. is it hard? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif )

Endless Nightmare is the original levelling quest. There were originally 4 variants, one for Forest, Caves, Mines and Ruins.
Basically, you fight your way through a couple of levels of each. Each room is STUFFED (And I mean STUFFED) with wave after wave of enemies. Finally, you reach the last room, and will be beseiged by an almost endless wave of enemies... something like five minutes worth of steady assault (You can pipe up and down, fortunately). The sheer number of enemies makes Heat Sword look like The Value of Money quest. It's been the most demanded quest since vers 2 and all subsiquent versions came out.
It's also a lot of fun, easily the best hack & slash quest. No time limit, no terribly difficult puzzles... just bust-a-move for a solid half hour or more.

Nope, not until Monday.
I hope we get to see lots of EN #4 games names in the next month or so.

Damnit Sonic Team, where's our Rule 6? For those of us who realized long ago that leveling sucks.

Yeah thats exactly how it works. I like the EN quests better because theres no time limit, you can goof off a lot more. These are the original power leveling quests, it's great to see them back. As far as your sleep delema goes, I feel ya. I'm up to about 22 hours or so straight, what the hell is wrong with me?
about quests on v2/pc version, do you have to beat the first two quests inorder to unlock other quests like offline mode?

Which quests? The Endless and mop up? Those should just be selecetable at the guild counter. As far as I know as long as they are posted to the server you can play them. If you can't select them, then they must be down or not availible on your server. I know when I used to play DC V2 they were always up and I could pick anyone that I wanted to.

Damnit I wish I could get online.
I assume Mop-Up is the same thing, then? Power levelling quest, or is there something that distinguishes it from Endless Nightmare?

Yep, me too. I remember going from level 100 to level 121 almost entirely from the E.N. quests on the DC. That's a helluva lot of exp now a days.

The difference between EN and Mop-up is that Mop-up has a time limit.I think you could get a panzer tail with the badges in Mop-up,but I dont think you can in GC

Mop Up and Endless Nightmare are VERY different. MU is timed. The army tells you that you have to go into an area & clear out all the monsters...PRESSURE! EN is not timed (as said previously), more monsters than you can imagine (I'm not kidding...it's insane...especially EN 4). I know all this because I played them all on DC. I can't wait to play them on my GC...I could use the levels. Thank God! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
