Question about GAS

Now with Base Stat+ Increases coming out. Do these show up in Base stats?

And if so will this allow me to equip better shields/weapons in the GAM's? See I am a PT so I cant equip even the lowest A-Rank Armors, my DFP is only 45, so lets say i take up to lvl 2 DFP+ will this now allow me to equip armors up to say 65 if my base DFP was originally only 45?

Well, seeing as on some of the threads a JP player who was doing speed runs (adios I think) was mentioning that they could equip a serafi-senba and psycho wand in Plains Overlord/R by using Base Stat+, I think that is confirmation.
