Are Challenge Mode bugs gone?

Has Sonic Team resolved the Challenge Mode bugs?
I'd like to take a Force through it, but not risk losing tech levels.

You could just start a new character specifically for challenge mode. That's what a lot of people are doing. Then you won't have to worry about any of the challenge mode bugs affecting any of your main characters.

That is true, but it's a personal goal of mine to take my main characters through Challenge Mode.

just make new dummy challenge chars of your main chars then you will have essentially taken your main chars through you just wont have the rank over your head in the lobby

hm... i'll buy a separate memcard for cmode-chara i guess...

then again, does the bug happen every time you finish c-mode?

(and what was up with that material-problem? i'm kinda confused about this....)

I made a dummy character for these problems. As much as I'd like to have the challenge ranks for my personal character, I don't want to lose all the materials I used nor my higher level techs.
