hey, i've tried everything to get my GC online but it still wont work, ill explain what ive done so far (im from UK).

I've stuck the ethernet cable in the network in the back of my PC ( doesnt work when i stick it directly into the Cable modem )

Now my pc and gc are hooked up and i go to "SETUP" on PSO and i tried automatic to find an IP ( DCHP ), but no luck it didnt work.

But on my pc i found the default gateway ( router ) both DNS numbers and the IP info.

SO then i go to manually set an IP and i put all the info in,but guess what? NO LUCK!

As i put above i cant directly stick the cable into my modem for some reason (im using USB).

HAs anyone else had this problem who could please help me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Is your ntl broadband thru your set top box or thru a seperate cable modem?

Ok your modem should have come with both the usb cable and also an ethernet cable, plug the ethernet cable into the back of the cable modem and into the GC BBA, turn off the modem for a few minutes then turn it back on again wait till the sync and ready lights are both on and not flashing or anything then load up pso and set all the BBA settings to automatic and it should work.
