Well i play runescape sometimes and u can safe range monsters is there a possibly to hide behind like a rock or something to do that to monsters?

In some areas. Like in the last block before the dragon in normal Plains Overlord, there is a little alcove where the enemies can't reach you, but you can still attack. And monsters will despawn (is that even a word) at a certain place, so if you can figure that point out you can attack them just out of their range.

Just remember, even in those safe spots on any mission, or when monsters "despawn" because of their barrier, they can still hit you with spells.
