Japanese players on Free Play?

Whats up with all the Japanese players on Free Play? Did alot of people import the game or is this game connected world wide?

I think he's wondering why the only people he gets matched with are Japanese. I notice it too.

Strange... I've only ever gotten a Japanese player once... most everyone else has been an english user, more or less.

Weird ain't it? Also I though this game only had a Local connection. Similar to most other wi-fi games like Metroid Prime Hunters. or Pokemon

I usually get Japanese players too.
I think that Japanese players usually spend more time on games like this than players from the rest of the world.

Do you mean that MPH didn't have internet play, or that it did not have worldwide matchmaking? Because it mos def had both. In fact, I'm pretty sure nearly every game with NWF support has worldwide matchmaking. The DS is region-free, so limiting matchmaking by regions would take more effort than leaving it open.
