However, if you don't start off clicking the corners you aren't playing right. I have yet to have four mines in all of the corners. Three's my personal best.

Technically, the corners are just as likely to blow up as anywhere else. They are, however, less likely to have adjacent mines, meaning higher chance of getting a nice big area clear off the bat.

Wait... first click being a mine? I swear that has never happened to me and Im pretty sure the game was programmed so that your first click can never be a mine but the whole "puzzle layout" is generated after your first click.
