Unable to form party in PSU JP Free mode

Me and a friend tried setting up on JP PSU servers recently. Had no problem getting online,
etc. but we could not seem to form party, or join each other's missions from the field base.

note: we are both playing free trial mode, on pc, neither of us has ever paid for online fees
for it.

Just wondering if we're doing something completely wrong, or missing something obvious,
or if this might just be the case, that free players cant form partys with free players.

yeah of course. we tried about everything. we have each other's partner cards,
we each created mission, could not join. it displays an X next to it. tried just
making party in lobby, would not work. we got the text in japanese scrolling up
the right side of screen when invite was sent/received, and then accepted. but
still failed to end up in party together.

did u b-list happens all the time?
if not that then party invites may be disabled

is blacklist that easy to do? if that was the case, it wouldnt suprise me since
were playing blind pretty much.

how would i know for sure if my friend's blacklisted?

yeah its really easy to bl someone; this pic is were the blacklist is. If you got your friend there unlist him/her from there and make sure your not bl on his list.
