Ok, I am looking to make these two weapons for a cosplay of mine, just looking for reference images (largish preferably), if anyone has any.

I couldn't really do any better than this. Sorry if it's not good enough.

Mahu has different designs on each side, Talis is identical on both.

Thanks, that will help a lot. I'll have to kinda interpret the second side of the mahu, talis might be a little tricky though...

I have always wanted to make the Talis it was one of my favorite weps in PSO
i was thinking of using some sorta pexiglass and tint it blue o3o

For the transparency, if you are familiar with working with moulds and resins, I'd recommend making a mold, and tinting a clear resin with dyes. Then paint over it with the symbols, using a tinted clear coat. That's how I plan to make the Talis, so its a long term project for me.

Oh, and, for the outside, I plan to use wire, model magic (dyed using marker), and coat that with a clear resin.
