If you are going to do Hard mode, or Very Hard mode, stock your self up with resist/saint(you might not need it for hard mode if your high leveled) When I do very hard I use all my slots for resist/saint when I get to his final form. They help a lot since grants is his main attack. You can get resist/saint from the armor shop, thougth it's not always there.

When the Darvants(spinners) attack use a rifle or handgun.(you can hit from a distance and if you used mechs they would slow you down after you are finished attacking and since they arent so easy to target a shot might not be recommended.) Make shure they do not surround you are you are dead.
(you can only hit them when puffs of smoke come from them or if they changes to purple)
When the DF form 1 comes you can use almost any weapon. In this form Dark Falz sometimes shoots out a few Darvants and uses a few elemental blasts. You have to shoot the heads that shoot out the Darvants.
(if you shoot the darvants in this form you get exp)
When DF form 2 comes ou should pull out a mechguns or a saber(if you like to run). This form uses alot more elemental attacks than form 1. You can see where the attacks are buy a large ball on the radar.(when he lowers one of his hands he is going to launch an elemental attack) he also slams the floor so you are binded and then he shoots an rain of death that usally hits.(run and look for a spot that isnt going to be hit) If you are on normal this it he end.
For the DF form 3 (only found in hard and very hard because it can be difficult at times) you should use any gun but a shotgun because there is only one target. If you use a saber sword etc. you will barely hit him because he moves alot. If he is shining (kinda looks like a PB) he is immune to all attacks so you can only hit him when he is black-blue. When he is on the lower ring his only attack(in the begining) is two slashes. When he is on the top ring he will shoot blue orbs at someone which means to run. After that he will use a grants technique (the only way to avoid this is if your mag can cast invincibilty but that is pretty rare) The grants does alot of damage if you arent a high enough level so you should buy some resist/light resist/saints if you are a lower level. After a while he does an attack that can be very painful if you have stupid teamates. He will try to kill someone by absorbing attacks and using it on another player. you can tell that he is doing this attack when someones clear double(their soul) is above them. You can also tell this when there is a big fat line on the radar attached to DF and a player. DO NOT ATTACK all damages will go to the player and wont go to DF.

Are you fighting DF on or offline? With my Hunter, I took him out offline on about your level. My friend, with his Force, waited 'til about level 32 before taking the offline form on. He won, but died 3 time in the doing. It's a tough call, but try it!

He is a HUcast and he cant use resta so he might want to get his stats up because he cant heal as much as a HUmar could

Ah, didn't know that. In that case, just make multiple trips down via telepipe, dropping entire stacks of mates. There by increasing the ability to heal. Also, by keying both monomates & dimates, I imagine a HUcast should do quiet well. While I did use Resta, it didn't make/break the fight.

Well I've faced Dark Falz online with another person and was destroyed and I've faced him alone offline on Normal and I was destroyed.
Today in fact I thought I could take Falz out. I'm a level 34 RAmar and with Heaven Punisher in hand I set out. Obliterating all the Ruins creatures with the handy special attack was easy. (note: don't read Rico's messages about Falz before facing him, I was a little disturbed by them lol; also I felt like if I didn't destroy him the universe would implode)
So I lay a telepipe and then go off to face him. Now I had only faced him once before and the Heaven Punisher's special attack destroyed the first form literally within ten seconds. He never launched an attack in form 1. Now as soon as he changed into form 2 I got off about 15-18 spec attacks before he shifted down. Now I know when he attacks another one comming immediately but sometimes, especially his ice attack I'm just plain dead. I haven't ever found a single scape doll. So I'm stuck until I raise my HP I guess or find that saint/resist stuff which I've never seen, oh well. I won't face Falz for awhile or else I'm one dead Ranger.

I've beaten DF in Normal mode and hard mode, and from what I've seen, he's not too tough. The Darvants are easy, use a ranged weapon, and shoot the ones that flash purple. You need to kill 3 in Normal mode, 5 in Hard mode, and 10 in V.Hard mode. When these are down, Falz will turn into a huge monster that glides across the stage, occasionally stopping to spit out darvants, use Rafoie and Rabarta, and shooting big blue beams of doom at you. You should bring at least three scape dolls, which can occasionally be bought at the green shop on pioneer2 for 5500 meseta if you can't find any in the levels. I would recommend a ranged weapon for his 2nd form too...in Normal, I used a Railgun, and in Hard, a Varista +9. I hate ice attacks, so I had resist/frost in one of my slots. If you can, cast resta and deband as often as you can, it really helps. Blast the three dragon heads, and, when he's down, it's time for form2. Equip your strongest weapon here....ranged or not. I used a Double Saber +20 for Normal and Hard. When he stops, hit him as much as possible. When he lowers his left arm, he'll use Rabarta twice, his right arm means he'll use Rafoie. When he rises in the air, he's about to cast slow, and then fire beams at you, that rain down everywhere. Just keep hitting him, and heal as soon as you're hit. When he's dead, congrats...unless you're on Hard, in which case you'll now face form3. When he flashes multi-coloured, you can't hit him, so shoot him when he's a dullish colour. When he rises in the air, just keep running. You should avoid the blue balls (His shadow blade attack), but he'll probably hit you with grants. Heal as soon as he does, as it does massive damage...You'll need about 350HP to survive it, unless you have resist/saint equipped. When you see a large red line attatched to you on the radar, just keep running round in a circle....DON'T HIT HIM. Any damage you do to him will be done to you instead. Wait until the line disappears, then continue to batter him. You should DEFINATELY use a gun here, as a short range weapon is impractical and innefective. When you've beaten him, congratulations! You'll be treated to a quality FMV of a......spinning.......red.....thingy. Enjoy!

I posted this comment a few weeks back on the UK PSO board in reply to someone else asking about how to defeat Falz on VHard. As I point out, this is entirely based on my own experience and if you know a better way, use that.
--- Begin cross posting ---
The right tactics help a lot - over the course of spanking Falz on VHard more times than I can count, I pretty much stick to the following. (Bear in mind I'm a Ranger - those of you who can't use rifles etc will have to figure out your own way, use handguns etc!!!)
Spikes:
Use a decent rifle with fast reload and bonus against dark - common though they are, something like a Visk or a Laser with full grind is perfect. As soon as the battle starts run immediately to the edge of the circle and stay there, skirting around the outside. Always keep moving. You should hardly have to dodge any spikes at all as they don't really come out to the edge much unless you stop moving. The key here is take your time - every so often you'll run into a fairly open area where there is a gap in the spikes - now pop a few off and run like hell again before they close in on you.
Form One - 3 headed dragon thing:
I use a crush bullet with +40% dark and +40% hit giving me a +80% bonus but any spread weapon will do. This form is easy - just sit by his middle head (the one that spits spikes) tucked in as if just behind his ear facing roughly in the same direction as him. You'll do plenty of damage - he will rarely do anything to hit you and your spread weapon will not only hit him, but will also blow away any spikes coming out of his mouth. If he drags you around and you get stuck against the side of the area, this is also good as you can usually hit him, but the spikes can't hit you and he rarely does either.
(Note: since I originally posted this, I've changed to using a spread needle because it has a faster reload time than crush)
Form Two - Big fancy monster thing:
I call this form Hitler because "he's only got one ball" - geddit? Doh! Ok. This is easy - just switch back to your single shot rifle and run up to the big bulbous ball thing he sits on and fire away. Stand right in front of him as close as you can get and let him have it. Heal every time he hits you (unless you're level 85+ and can take 2 consecutive hits) and he'll be dead in no time.
(Note: I'm not sure if the Hitler joke will work in America unless you guys have the song as well) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
Form Three - Ugly floaty thing:
This is the one that usually 'does-in' most lower level players, since on V.Hard grants can kill anyone below about level 60ish in one go (in fact all his attacks can). A good rifle is your best friend again due to its long range. I tend to find the best thing to do is be patient and take your time. It's pretty much a case of following the same pattern over and over.
He moves around the ring, stopping from time to time - this is your time to attack - you can hit him from pretty much anywhere, but if you find you're doing a load of 0's for damage, quickly twitch the controller and target him again and you'll probably get him this time. As soon as he moves up in the air, he will first send out a bunch of blue energy balls - these are easy to dodge - just keep running around the perimeter of the ring and do not stop and they will not hit you. Then he will do a grants. Like I said before, if you're lower than about level 60ish and are a low hp character like a force, you're probably now dead so either wait for your scape doll to work, or someone to revive you http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif If not, heal and repeat the process. The only thing to try and avoid is his soul steal which you can generally miss by not sitting in one place in front of him for too long.
Anyway - I'm sure most of you have your own tactics and mine aren't news to you - but there ya go - thats how I do it.
--- End cross posting ----
Hope this is of use to someone http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
