How much longer can u wait for psox

i cant wait that much longer. its been delayed soooooooooo many times. it was suppose to be release on 11/15 the same day xbox live came out. errrrrrr i want to play this game soooo bad. just wanna know how many of you are this angry bout the game getting delayed again.

it is going to be the 22 now. i hope they delaying it to fix up all the bugs and to make sure there isnt gonna be any hacking. also i know many peole want them to take off the thing where u have to have xboxlive to play offline, well i want them to keep that on to make the game safer. the game isnt fun offline so there no point getting it if you cant play it online.

I disagree.. I played it online a lot on Dreamcast (version 1) and now play it on GameCube offline only because I can't afford it at the moment. I have plenty of fun in both single player and split-screen offline. It's just as fun as online playing except you can punch the item hogs and it's a lot easier to talk, trash talk and joke around. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I plan to get online eventually, but I'd have bought the game even if I couldn't.

Yeah that sucks, i have gamecube and have pso for gamecube but anyways...just think of it as them "perfecting" it, with all this delaying its bound to be good.

And the April date certainly isn't official. Microsoft and Sega still say that it'll be out in March, on the 25th.

Retailers have dropped the ball on game releases before. For now, I'm going to trust the words of the two companies that are creating, publishing, and running the game.

Actually no. The retail stores jump the gun on release dates in hopes of getting your money. Both Microsoft and Bungie had said Halo 2 would be out around Winter 2003 (obviously before the announced delay)...did that stop retail stores from putting up dates of August 1st? No.

The bottom line is never trust retail sites for the official date unless Microsoft or the company says this is the date.

Yes but this argument is not about retailers having early dates but rather late ones as compared to the publishers. In this instance i would assume that the game is either 1 delayed officially by the publisher (maybe with hopes that they can still make the original date) or 2 that the retail stores' distributors have not received the game on time forcing the retail stores to push back expected delivery to avoid 100's of people (oh wait this is PSO) 10's of people coming in and bitching that the game isnt there.

Note that I love PSO but realize that not too many people are rabidly waiting for its release

in my years of waiting for this game, i recently bought DOAXBV to drool over Hitomi and Lei-Fang, but its not workin, im still tempted to yank PSOGC out of the closet and play until my hands go numb. Unfortunately, there are a shitload of (better) games due out around the 4/22 release date. so we'll have to wait and see
