Basically, you cant. Sometimes you can be the % on a weapon. Like lavis cannon (the duped one) tends to be 20% native.

In general, just use some common sense. Tring to come up with analogy...

Say you live in a high crime area and the local bank was recently robbed. Now, if a stranger came up to you and offered you a large amount of cash for free or for doing a trivial task, how would you react? On the flip side, say some friends of yours say they got lucky and won a modest amount of cash at a contest and offer you some of it - how would you react?

PSO is filled with cheaters - They, by far, outnumber the honest players. If someone offered you a very rare item, a flag should go up. However, if someone whom you trust and play with a while said they found item x and offers it to you, it's okay to accept it.

In the end, it just comes down to you and your judgement. Bascially, just open your eyes and don't let your desire for rares overcome your common sense.
