Big time Spoiler alert, so tags away!


So in Shadow of the Arkguard, Ethan kills Helga.
In Phantasy Star Portable, Helga is sealed away with the SEED.
Which story arc came first? And how is Helga in both, no matter which came first?
I'm a little confused here. Can someone clarify this?

Well, Helga is a replicated Human. She is basically a really sexy SEED-form, with an infinite amount of copies. SO, the Helga that Ethan kills in Arkguard isn't the same one from PSP1. There's many Helgas.

If I remember correctly, Vivienne was made using Helga's younger facial features, so I think she might have been made after the original (real) Helga. That would make her a copy, but a different kind of copy. Hell, I don't know. It's kind of convoluted.

As far as I know, you have it right, Vivienne is a cast copy of the original, human Helga and the SEED form Helga is a SEED infested copy of the original, human Helga, so they're both copies of the same person but aren't in themselves similar to each other. Makes you wonder why she's so popular, I mean, really! why Helga? I didn't play much AOTL, but why not SEED copies of Howser since he already had Magashi as a cast copy?
