Some of the costume elements in PSO are pretty simple to explain (robes, sunglasses). What in the world is up with some of the other items?
HUnewearls... Surely they could have put in some more CLOTHES for those girls to wear.
Are HUcaseals wearing anything, or is that just the way they`re painted?
Can someone explain why Force Newmans are wearing ~18-inch stacks and those things that bloom out near their hips?
What`s up with some of the FOs funky hats? What are those things at the backs of FOmarls dresses?
What is that outfit RAmars are wearing? What`s that big body thing they`re wearing up top? What is their suit made of?
What about RAmarl`s Hammer pants (break it down! Uh oh!)?
Has anyone else ever noticed any oddities in PSO`s outfits?
Post your questions and theories about those oddities here!

If I recall correctly, the RAmar outfits are based on the equipment worn by the protagonists of another Sega game Burning Rangers.

I think they have an awesome sense of style.
Fonewm is supposed to be like a space jester
Ramarls I THINK are based off of some female chinese police uniform or something.
Hucaseal is an android, she doesn't wear clothes.

All I know is it's "futuristic" and fantasy with a splash of eccentric.
The clothes set the tone pretty well, if ya ask me.

I believe that eccentric only apply to the force.

So that means the Force users designed the clothing used in the 5th element. It makes sense. :)

I think it was proven somewhere that the RAmar's body armor is actually a portable toilet for these long missions where one would be unable to have the opportunity of properly relieve themselves. Disable a certain locking mechanism, take the armor off, press a button, and presto! You got yourself a toilet. It also comes with a plunge and some detergent!

But then... how would you put your armor back on? @_@ lol

After it disintegrates whatever radioactive spawn from hell you dropped in there, you just have to clean it with the included detergent and then press a few buttons to make it go back to armor mode. Sadly, it doesn't include anything to help you deal with the mental trauma brought by the fact that you're wearing something that contained your toxic filth a few moments ago.

Maybe all RAmars get dressed something like the intro to StarCraft II.
Took that guy about 5 minutes to put the suit on but he looked cool during the whole process lol...
I'd post the link but I'm at work and they don't allow streaming websites. :(

Everything is probably referenced from local fashion, history, or media in Japan. the Fomar robes for example look like a futuristic samurai garb.
