I REALLY WANT TO PLAY

So can anyone tell me if there is a free version that i can play,
im not a huge fan of pirating or anything so if anyone knows of a download site for this game please inform me, id really like to get into this, but i dont really wanna go out and buy the game or even look too hard for it, so any ideas? please?

and do u have to pay a monthly subscription? or anything?

You're out of luck on all accounts. The official servers were closed (for PS2/PC) last year, and there is currently no fully functional private server.

dang. thats a real bummer considering the popularity of the PC (it was already high) had skyrocketed. well at least as far as i know, the computer is coming back into view as a gaming console

play the JP version. That the only option available atm.

Well, there's the Japanese PC/PS2 server. There's a Free player option which has some restrictions.
