Well, Kirukia and I had a random brainchild of wondering exactly what some enemies in the Phantasy Star games were.

The Portable series have the most enemies so here we are.

Koltovas are some kind of cow. They produce Koltova milk that makes you stronger, after all.

Distova are apparently some kind of infected Koltova...and Gol Dova are MASSIVE ARMORED COWS.

Druas seem more like crocodiles to me.

@Jarba: The head reminds me of a fish or something, especially because of the fin. It's somewhat humanoid, but it has claws. So I'm going to say there are more things involved in a jarba than just that :p

To me, the Zerumons are most likely a form of pirate (because of the hook arms) that drank too much of Lou's cooling fluid and got horribly mutated (this stuff is radioactive, you know). They also like putting their heads in microwaves, hence their stupidity.
