In Multiplayer for GC can I still get rare weapons?

If i'm playin multiplayer on the GC version can i still get rare weapons in hard mode or higher? If so is there anyway to tell what kinds of weapons I'm gonna get?

Yes, there is. The section ID of your party leader, player 1, will determine the rare item drops that you will find. You can find the drop charts here (http://www.pso-world.com/item_findings.php). Just click on the leader's section ID and look for difficulty, area, and monsters to see what drops.

Also, make sure that your characters are not carrying any stacked items (eg. 11 monomates) or hacked items (eg. lvl 270 mag).

*Technically* you can find rares in Normal mode, but as you may see in the drop charts, the drop rate is ridiculous for most rare items.

Sorry for the bump, but im new to the pso fourms but not the game. My friend and i play, im a pinkal and he's a skyly. so does that mean we cant find anything for his sectino id, only mine?

If he's player 1, you can get drops for his ID. They depend on the first player.
