How can i add Friends

Hey can someone show me how add my friends on mi friend list? plx i cant find the option

Friend Roster on the main menu at the bottom, go to "Register Friend Code" or something, and then add their 8-digit code, give them a name, and presto!

Just a note, in case you notice it happen before you actually ask about it, if you correctly add someone's FC and neither of you can see each other online while you are both definitely online, one of you needs to stop pirating. Just a little forewarning on that.
