What TECHs using Vanguard.

Allow me to keep it simple for the sake of answers.

I like FOmars, and I want a FOmar in my PSP:2.

Planning to dedicate a full Vanguard build using Madoogs/Saber.

Anyone has managed to recreate a FOmar in PSP:2 (or PSP2:i)?

Keep in mind techs become much better when you get the +5 to all pa lv's.

Or if by recreation you mean outfit, the FOmar dress (and other PSO outfits) is unlocked by beating hard mode on PSP2 (And I'm assuming Hard mode on Epi. 1 for PSP2/i)

Having those rotating foies damage an flinch enemies I am fighting works very well and they stack up chain very quickly

Yep, Foverse. It's a little like the old Gifoie spam in PSO. That's probably the most authentic tech to use... well, that and Sabarta, but Gibarta in PSO wasn't as prevalent as Gifoie.

You're looking at either being a Force, buffing and healing occasionally, or an Ignite Arts Vanguard, which takes a LOT of levelling to get to.

Both get sabers and tech-mags as "cheap" upgrades, so getting S-ranks should be pretty easy. If you're looking at recreating the FOmar experience even more, look at rods, double sabers, maybe a couple of spears or swords (Soul Eater particularly), and low rank guns like pistols, machineguns and twinguns. FOmars could use all of these. You can also hope for a Shato, Rumkin or Pushan mag, as well as an Excalibur saber, as that's what a lot of people ran around using back in the day.

Not necessary if you have a Newman Vanguard/Braver. You're not going to get hit anyways, and if you do you're probably very close to death so Dimates and Trimates via HP Halfline/Deadline may be better.
