Well, there's different kinds of catgirls. Some are basically human with ears and a tail:

And others are more of a half cat/half human hybrid, like Felicia from Darkstalkers (like Sayara pointed out):

So, it's whatever style suits the artist.

It's always seemed to me that if there were fur on the hands, there was a very good chance they'd have long nails, but if their hands were bare there would be a good chance the nails would be more normal.

Okay. I ended up doing just the usual length. The long nails looked kind of weird. I put up the lineart on my DA if ya wanna look. Regardless, THANKS for the input all. ^^

XDD Well, it was for one of my friends. I should have drawn that about a year ago. But I'm lazy. So, I'm sure he doesn't want any interference up top, so that's how it'll stay! Wrong crowds? Bring 'em. More interesting than no crowds :cat:

I hope so, too. If the guy in the picture is actually thinking about "doing something" with them, I think we've got more to worry about than the actually being fixed, since they're all like two years old.

Seriously – what if cats were all alien spiders, and they came here from another planet, because their planet was dying for some reason, so they came here for refuge. And even though they’re totally peaceful and benign, we shunned them because they were gross giant alien spiders, so they used their super alien mind-technology to project the image of an adorable furry animal to mask their actual terrifying form. So now, house-cats as we know them are actually alien spiders, hiding in plain sight. Seriously.
