Hey everyone. I am a noob in every sense of the word when it comes to Phantasy Star. I've never played a Phantasy Star game... which is kind of a travesty considering I'm a huge RPG nerd. But I just ordered Phantasy Star Portable 2 and it should be coming today... UPS is being slow. :argh: But anyway! Yeah. I'm excited for that. :)
I also want to play all the original games for Sega, especially IV because I hear that one is amazing. So I'm going to be playing those on a Sega emulator that I downloaded. And apparently there are a LOT more Phantasy Star games (including remakes - I'm a completist so I'll probably attempt both the originals and the remakes) so I'm excited to delve into it all.
So yeah, if anyone would like to guide me into the world and has any helpful hints, advice, or whatever, feel free. That would be awesome.
As I said I love RPGs in general so RPGs that I am into include: the Shin Megami Tensei games (namely the Persona series, esp Persona 3), Final Fantasy series (my favorite is FF9), Chrono Trigger, Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Suikoden V, Pokemon, Breath of Fire III, Earthbound, Terranigma, Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG..... the list goes on but those are some of my favorites. And I'm currently playing Crimson Gem Saga which is cute and addicting.
other all-time favorite game series are: Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong, Resident Evil, Uncharted 2, Fallout, Age of Empires, Kirby.
