What does it do exactly psupedia says "Reduces the variance of your weapons by 50%." But what does that mean exactly any help would be appreciated.

"Variance" is the range of damage that a weapon can hit. Each weapon has it's own degree of variance. Example:

Let's say your Saber hits between 100-300 damage. It's got a 200 pt. variance. So, Weapons Master would decrease the variance (close the gap between that 100 and 300), for more exact, solid damage.
