ok so im trying to get into the swing of things again...can anyone tell me what all has changed in the last 2 years? where is everyone playing now?anything new and exciting? please and ty

If there isn't an event, people will be found at White Beast or Seed Express. Right now we have a Spring Event on the 5th floor. We got the GAM and GAS updates. I dunno XD A lot has happened. Just look on PSUpedia what you missed :o

Yep, that's the general gist of it.

Level cap is 180, once you hit that cap you can earn AEXP, and AP, to spend on upgrades for your chosen class. Some classes got rebalanced too, mainly hybrid classes getting a bit of a stat boost, but also things like Limit Breaks for Masterforces turns them into the damage machines they were in PSO.

S3 missions are available at certain places, most of them are comparable to, or actually even weaker than, pre-existing S2 missions. A lot of them are multiplayer missions like Forest Infiltration, which needs 5 players to get an S-rank, but is otherwise easily completed with an A.

GAMs are like little challenge mode missions where you're toned down to level 20 against enemies of a higher level. You'll be able to use a selection of your gear based on requirements, some won't even get A-rank armour, others won't lose a single equip. These missions give AMP, which is used to buy super cool things like the two new buff spells Dizas and Rentis, new SUVs like Ares Espada, and trade-in items like Dragon Scales. You also earn AEXP from every enemy in GAMs, so they're cool like that... but finding a group to run them can be difficult.

The current event, Protectors Epsilon, gives out AMP too, as well as some event exclusives that won't show up again.

In these 2 years the difference between the JP and the XBox 360 servers has been getting larger and larger, with the XBox 360 servers being somewhere around 1 to 1.5 years behind in updates. Also, the english PC/PS2 servers were shutdown 1 year ago.

In the Japanese PC servers (the PS2 version is about to be dropped by the end of the week, April 14), there's a big update coming, which will introduce new areas from Phantasy Star Portable 2 and Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity:
