you know i was thinkin a couple days ago how would pso 2 be if they evercame out with a real sequal so i was like grphix wise complete overdrive im talking kick ass graphix and that they stay true to the anime style of pso and then like as we lvl up we can add more strikes to our combos and also that are characters could jump! makeing room for new puzzles in pso also we could customize what extra strikes we could put into our combo in the strike shop and we could choose what kinda attack for strike 4 5 6 ect. (kinda like when u buy skills for dantes sword in devil may cry) and we could make our own weapon by finding parts in the levels an building in the special shop but wepon makeing would be hard and also in the new pioneer or whetever thered be a unters louge and we could go in there and play pool agaisnt each other or checkers or pinball or whatever! and i think to add a new edge to magic thered have to be charge time before casting (ala final fantasy XI) and when u lvl up your casting time lowers and i was thinkin bout a new class that just uses fists and feet Brawler ofcourse that would mean hunters would get a short on there claw wep supply but the brawler class would be cool there could be weapons that u use as claw or boots and just pull a bruce lee on boomas! and finally no fsod and bsod no corruption perfection all the way! what you think just picture your humar doing a jump slash and coming right back down slashing the heck out of a monster or your racast makeing a a huge shockwave by slamming his foot on the groud ..........oooooooooo i wish

Also: a good idea...as we level up we can add more strikes to our combos and gain the ability to jump, as well! We could customize what extra strikes we could put into our combo in a "strike shop" and we could choose what kind of attack and number of strikes--4, 5, 6, etc (kind of like when you buy skills for Dante's Sword in Devil May Cry).
Also, we could make our own weapon by finding different parts in the levels and build weapons from them in a special shop. However, weapon making would have to be hard...
Also: in the new Pioneer design there'd be a Hunter's lounge...somewhere play pool against each other...or checkers, or pinball, or whatever!
And to add a new edge to magic, there could be a charge time before casting (ala Final Fantasy XI), and when u level up, your casting time lowers.
I was also thinking about a new class that just uses fists and feet...a Brawler. Of course, that would mean hunters would get less weaponry to use in the claw class, but the brawler class would be cool, too. There could be weapons that you use as a claw or as boots and you could just pull a Bruce Lee on boomas!
And finally, no FSOD or BSOD no corruption...perfection all the way!
What do you think? Just picture your HUmar doing a jumping slash...then coming right back down and slashing the heck out of a monster!...Or your RAcast making a huge shockwave by slamming his foot on the ground....ooooooooo! If only...

I got what you were saying that is a very good idea...it adds more to the story...when you can have your own customizeable weapon...and..I dont know how people didn't get that...its a great idea..and for pool people who stay on all the time and want to bond with other players..its an innovative idea..I like that too..

Yeah, buddy, I'm talkin' 'bout taking a Yasminkov 12000C (Who the hell wants a wussy photon minigun?) and sprayin' rounds till every mother****er in the room gets rolled on.

... I wish.

Seriously, they need more automatic weapons. Unique miniguns and assault rifles first come to mind. And hunters need a chainsaw. I know, I know, there's that damn Chain Sawd sword, but it just doesn't feel right, I want him to take that sombitch by both handles and impale some sorry ass with it, all Evil Dead/Army of Darkness style.

first of all i'd wish soniti would rewrite the game-engine from scratch and especially for the platform that its supposed to run on.

then i'd wish, soniti would chose 1 console only. this would mean they could concentrate on this one console and get the best results on it (note: i'm not naming any console's name here).

with this, online mode would have to be a lot more stabile. dreamcast servers where more stabile than these now.. and what is the 'meet user' option for when its actually gambling with fsod?
switching weapons via short menu ingame is useless since i now got fsod ingame three times (in 3 weeks, not bad, hm? - dial up, btw... and i never had problems like this on v1 and v2). i'm not risking any precious second weapon anymore.

with a new engine would also come improved polygon models and textures (especially ep1).
then of course. this seperation of ep1 and ep2 made sense, when the game was planned to be compatible with v2. but now it isn't. so why do we have to go back to the title screen to change the episodes?

well, for other ingame things:
-all old and lots of new content.
-there is not really need for any more characterclass, but well, wouldnt hurt.
-way more ways to make your own character unique - especially different clothings, etc... hair-like colour-selection for clothes etc.
-new levels (snow!!! falling snow and snow on the ground! snow everywhere - i want a powdered level) and the old levels enlengthend (ep2 is really short).
-new enemies and a different ult-form for every type (hm, why not a new type for every difficulty level).
-changing weather (changing daytime would be a bit difficult to set unless you make that as a selection or take the game's creator's time for it) kinda like in wave race.

more ways to upgrade your weapons - like the system in final fantasy 7 maybe...


when the guildcard file has to stay uncopyable, at least they should make an ingame option to synchronize guildcard files from one memcard to another.
and... maybe split the character file into 4 files... again. and allow more than 4 of these files on one card (16 maybe).

and when non-japanese versions aren't allowed to upload snapshots, why not create a photoalbum on memcard like smash bros melee has it...

How about re-adjusting the auto-targeting system or at least supplement the auto-targeting with a manual target toggling button. So when you're in a heated battle with tons of enemies and you need to pull off that vital attack, it actually hits an enemy instead of a box on the other side of the room.
Having more than five types of enemies on each level would do wonders for this game. That and a plot..because what they have going right now is weak.
Still a good game...it just needs a bit of an overhaul.

What they definetely need, in addition to everything everyone else said...is MORE MORE RARE MONSTERS!

I mean, past the Caves...where are the rare monsters in Ep.1? Exactly: nowhere! They need rare garanzes (and name them: Satan) or Sinows or something to that effect...and do the same in the ruins (and Ep.2).

And with more rare monsters, we need: MORE MORE RARE WEAPONRY AND SHTUFF!
