That's IF he can even log in there, lol. On a serious note though. It is annoying it's been down for about 2 weeks now. Seriously Just be paitient. I rather them fix so this won't happen again than them rushing just to please some rabid customers dead set on a date, I so belive it will probably be up next week the latest. Sony is building a brand new network from scratch since their's no safe way to put the same system up and protect the credit information of their millions of users. With the new news from Sunday involving the SOE it will probably be down for quite some time. I'm not sure where you seen that sony will only have a week of down time, but, I think the case is going to be much, much longer.

^ They don't exactly have to give you updates immediately when you want them. They've been consistent enough as is. And it hasn't really been two days, dude, because the last update was posted on their blog yesterday (EU's was today).

Those who lack the patience though, begin learning it, seriously. Lack of online play for extended periods of time hasn't killed anyone.

Just be patient, dude. Take the time to hunt some weps offline dude. Sony has every right to keep the PSN down as long as they want if it means that they can provide better security for its customers. I bet you could do better stuff with your time than posting on here complaining about the PSN.

Oh btw, Im proud to say that I hv beaten Magashi Plan on S using only twin hanguns as HUcast. Pretty great for being HU I think.

Offline was the only way to play Phantasy Star back in the day, I'll tell you what, and the game eventually ended too!

The good news is that we have more time to study... Honestly, it's not as bad as every console fan is making it out to be. Every Phantasy Star fan should be used to hackers pooping on the party anyway. xD

That, and keeping myself busy with PC games like Minecraft, League of Legends, and Age of Empires. Just stick with some good single player games, or play on another console, and you'll be fine. :razz:

Dunno. I don't see any reason to whine about PSN being down. If there's some monstrous security breach, then I expect them to be down until they fix it.

Besides, if they end up going over the source code (or at least all the client-facing stuff) to make sure it's airtight, that could take a while... It's not like it's simple to track down vulnerabilities. Plus, remember that right after PSN got hacked, SOE got hit too (Somehow, I suspect that it was the same or a similar vulnerability), which makes the overall workload even larger.

Seems that there is a correlation between each successive generations' increased sense of entitlement and the quality of the Rants here. Someone with grant-writing chops needs to start a research project here, there's science to be done.
