how long did it take for you to find a "new" weapon (in PSOep1&2), by new i mean one that was not in PSO v1?

It depends on where your looken... generally speaking long... for me anyways. Check out Item Database and look for items with only a gamecube/xbox beside them. Click one and it'll tell ya where to look.
