I think a lot of people especially vets, just save up their free coins over the days/events

Yes, the best strategy is not betting.

I rarely bet, and when I do, I bet small. But when I do, I usually go up to one of the balconies and just watch the roulette table spin a few times, watching closely where it stops each time, to give me an idea of where it'll stop next. When I feel like there's a good chance I might have an idea of where it'll go next, I place a small bet down. I always go for one of the three big middle slots, though. Slow and small stakes gambling, but it often works. I also limit how much I intend to spend. If it falls to a certain number, I stop for the day so I don't lose too much.

A long string of safe bets is generally effective, but as it is indeed a bet, there's no guarantee of it working out.

Personally I put:

35% on 1-12
35% on 25-36
25% on Black
5% on 0

Never ignore zero, it can mess up your day if you don't pay tribute to it. By this method, based on a 1 silver total bet, you get 1.05 silver if it comes up in either of the number ranges, 1.55 silver if it comes in a number range on your chosen colour, 0.5 if it comes up on the colour outside the range, 1.80 silver if it lands on zero, and you only lose everything if it lands on the wrong colour outside the range. Red 13 is the one spot that always gets me; if I lose everything it's always because of that number.

You could pick any two of the ranges and any colour and this method still applies. I rarely go to the casino, but I consistently get decent payouts. Yesterday I went from 1 silver to just over 6 before quitting while I was ahead. The other week I risked my 20 silver I'd saved and got up to 97 before deciding it was too dangerous to continue.

Knowing when to stop is the sign of a wise bet. The true gambler, however, is defined by the unshakable belief that the next roll of the dice, deal of the cards or spin of the roulette will end the longest losing streak in history.

If you go to the center of the roulette you can rise the camera and see the full roulette :) or you could simply see the last few numbers on the upper right corner of the screen.

If you manage a massive win, don't ever bet more than half of it for the rest of your visit and leave once you pass the 50% of overall winnings spent, that way you just guaranteed yourself to walk away in the positives. It's how I turned $20 into $800 in Korea...but that was blackjack.

EDIT: I stopped after reaching $800, I didn't lose half of $1.6k >>
