Red/Blue(Green) -> +3yrs Gold/Silver/Crystal -> +?yrs Diamond/Pearl/Platinum -> +?yrs Black/White

I don't know were ruby/sapphire/emerald stand in the time line. Yellow was based on the anime so meh.

Maybe in anime form or whatever, but Digimon started out as a Tamagotchi-style computer pet.

Or maybe Pokemon was copyrighted earlier, but the actual merchandise and games didn't come out until after Digimon had been let loose.

I only like the digimon anime 1 and 2. The rest are meh.

The games I never liked. Evolution routes are always unstable and changed from game to game. Music was meh at best. Worlds were boring on the handhelds. The baby making o Ao.

The Digimon keychain toys came out in 1997. The first Pokemon games came out in 1996.
