If your PC is set up so you can type in Japanese (typically a very easy process), these links should also prove infinitely helpful.

For looking up item names use http://psu.amesani.org/

For translating them into alphanumeric translations of how they are pronounced in Japanese go to http://nihongo.j-talk.com/kanji/

amesani gives you the japanese names of the items you're looking for, while the second link shows you how you would spell it. i.e. Lavis Arrow is ラヴィス・アーロ, but when you paste it into the second link it shows that you would type "ravisu/aro", you have to add the extra lines between "a-ro-" on your own of course.
